I am a member of Indie Authors Unite (IAU). Now what?
The concept of IAU was developed for Independent and Small Press Authors to have a centralized place where they could come to share and learn information about the various stages of publishing and promoting/marketing. The idea is to become a cohesive group that will come together to support and cross-promote one another.
Although there are no hard and fast rules, it is expected that each member will take a few minutes out of their day to support another member of the group by exposing them to their resource and/or circle of friends, essentially expanding their potential readership and the same courtesy will be reciprocated.
The purpose of this group is not to overwhelm its members with more tasks in an already haphazard and crazy existence of an Author, it is designed to bring awareness to more people that Indie Authors are here to stay and when we pool our energy and resources...WE ROCK!!! If this is something that you can do, then this is the place for you. Welcome!!!

Joleene Naylor
Joleene Naylor grew up in southwest Iowa surrounded by corn and very little entertainment – so she made her own. She’s been writing and drawing since she was a child, with a leaning towards fantasy, horror and paranormal. It’s this love of all that goes bump in the night that lead her to write the Amaranthine vampire series. In her spare time she’s a freelance artist and photographer. Joleene does freelance book cover art, maintains blogs full of odd ramblings, illustrates a webcomic and hopes to win the lottery. However, unless she starts buying tickets, she may never actually win anything.
Jodi Langston
Jodi Langston is a Minnesota native with a passion for the written word and the outdoors. She can be found camera in hand photographing local wildflowers and wildlife. She's spent a lifetime writing prose and poetry. Jodi specializes in the romantic suspense and mystery genres, creating exciting characters who find themselves in dangerous situations. Always, is her first release with numerous novels to follow.
